Donncha Awake!

Our little guy is starting to have more awake periods which is very exciting. This is from Friday night at Soph and Kristen’s (where we had a most delicious dinner, thank you!).

Finn found this hat my friend Emily gave us at Finn’s baby shower and he insisted on wearing it all day. His hair was quite something when we finally got the hat off!

“done + acka”

Donagh (pron. “done + a”)

donn ”brown” and cath ”battle” meaning “brown-haired warrior.” Brian Boru’s (read the legend) son Donncha was a High King of Ireland until his death in 1064.

60 degrees today!

It was amazing weather today and we had a great outing to Lynch Park. Finn had a blast riding his bike and Donncha enjoyed his first trip to the beach.

I imagine Donncha knows all the Poppy and Sam stories already, hearing them from the inside and now hearing them on the outside!

Hannah visited this afternoon much to Finn’s delight. He quickly had Allan giving them horse rides around the living room.

Happy One Week Birthday Donncha!

Although we can’t really believe it, Donncha turned one week old today! We celebrated with Leo and Kristen. The boys had chocolate lollipops and Donncha had milk! Yes, we wore party hats and sang.

I don’t think Finn could be more proud.
