we’re back…
September 30, 2008 · 1 Comment
you know how some people just can’t sleep on the plane – well apparently Finn is one of those people! 6 hours home non-stop talking and playing. He had a blast. All the guys are here buckled in for landing. He was awake this morning at 4:30 am (9:30 Schull time) asking about the 2.5 foot long fire truck that we “accidently” left in Schull. Sorry Nana and Grandad, but we’ve promised him you will bring it when you come to visit next!
More pics to be posted this evening (if I am still awake!)

And we’re here
September 23, 2008 · 2 Comments
Flight time 5 hours, 5 minutes, leaving at 7:00 pm arriving Shannon 5:00 am, (12 midnight) our time. Seatbelts on, landing gear goes down, and Finn finally fell asleep! So about a 15 minute nap on the way here! Luckily he slept on the drive down to Schull so our first day was full on fun with Nana, Grandad, Auntie Karen and Uncle Stevie. Here my magic fairy, hi-vis wearing construction worker, rugby player has some fun with his Dad and Uncle.

Farm Visit # 1
September 23, 2008 · 3 Comments
Getting instructions from Uncle Denis.
First things first, straight into the digger with Uncle Stevie as soon as we got there.
Helping Uncle Denis with some construction projects on the farm.
Three boys in the digger.
Literally hopping with excitement to be at the farm.
Inspecting the calves, much bigger than when we saw them in April!
Washing down the digger after a hard days work.

Fun in Maine
September 3, 2008 · 2 Comments
Allan’s sail on Sunday afternoon – it was windy!
I love this picture.
Finn had a lot of fun picking up red leaves – I see many in my future!
Even from the bike he can still call “all aboard” and make it into a train ride.
Allan and I hit the water – literally! We were flying it was so windy!
Here I am thinking “what the heck am I doing in here??”!!!
I wish this was video – we were going so fast.
We hiked up “the mountain” close to Mum and Dad’s house.
Finn having a rest on the porch swing. I think this is more, beach hut in the Bahamas than cabin in Maine!
